Born and raised in the Cedar Valley. I’ve grown to love this
community. Grew up with loving, supportive & inspiring parents and
was blessed to be raised with my two sisters. Spent Friday nights
working in the concessions at local football games, Saturday mornings
selling mini donuts at town fairs, cleaning & painting rental
houses, and delivering papers. I was taught at a young age to appreciate
hard work. Graduated from Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa
with a degree in psychology. Took my first real job in Chicago in the
Cook County Jail teaching employ-ability skills to inmates. With
numerous trips on the "L" to and from work, I read a book that my dad
gave me called "The Magic of Thinking Big". After reading this book I
knew the Cook County Jail wasn’t my true calling and made the decision
to move back to the Cedar Valley and seek out an opportunity to make a
mark on our community. Sales sounded exciting and selling homes sounded
like a rewarding experience. I hit the ground running spending almost
every night knocking on doors and handing out apples stating I was
"Fresh in the Business, Hire me and start packing!" I am a huge
proponent of marketing and truly believe in "Obsessively Working for
You!" I was blessed to meet my amazing husband on a blind date arranged
by a past client. Steve and I were married a few years later and I
took my first vacation, our honeymoon where I didn’t call the office
every single day to check in. I love married life! We added to our
family and were blessed with twins - Foster and Faith in 2015! They are
miracles and a complete blessing! My cute husband. Faith Barbara and Foster Steven - the sweetest
blessings! Saturday morning breakfast with Steve. A great cup of
coffee. My nieces and nephews. A Sold sign. My standard poodle – Henry.
Spicy food. Love watches – my grandpa had a collection and passed on the
appreciation for great watches. A new worship cd. Indian food. I love
technology. Canoeing. Beat boxing. The Plaza in Kansas City. Bustin’ a
move. Michigan Ave in Chicago. Great pair of shoes – Dad always taught
us that you have to have a nice pair. Northface – summer or winter. My
clients – They become friends and bring a lot to my life.A little about me
